El Monte Union’s April Superintendent’s Update is here! Watch Superintendent Dr. Edward Zuniga highlight key District milestones, including Mountain View High School’s hilarious spring production of “The Play That Goes Wrong” and the inaugural U.S. Bank Financial Literacy Fair, where students learned budgeting and savings skills.

This month’s update also covers the grand opening of the Family & Community Engagement Center, South El Monte High School’s Open House, and the groundbreaking for the new Rosemead Center Adult Education Complex.

We’re celebrating student successes, from Carly Valdez leading the flag salute at Fernando R. Ledesma High School to Arroyo High’s boys’ varsity basketball team winning the 2025 CIF Southern-Section Championship!
