Welcome to ParentSquare

The El Monte Union High School District is excited to announce we'll be using ParentSquare as our new school-to-home communications platform beginning the 2023-24 school year. This unified communications platform is designed to keep parents, guardians, and students informed as well as encourage greater engagement with all of our EMUHSD schools. The platform sends communications primarily with email, text, & app notifications and each parent /student can customize their preferences on how best to receive the information.

ParentSquare provides a safe way for district administrators, school principals, teachers, staff, and parents to:

Receive messages from the school via email, text, or app notification
Choose to receive information as it comes or all at once with a daily digest at 6pm
Communicate in your preferred language with auto translations
Comment on school postings to engage with your school community
Direct message teachers, staff, and other parents
Participate in group messages
View your school's event calendar and easily add to your personal calendar for reminders
Sign forms & permission slips, sign up to volunteer, and more all from your desktop or mobile device

ParentSquare automatically generates an account for each parent, using the email address and phone number you have on file with the district. If ParentSquare is also used in another school district your student attends such as El Monte City, Rosemead, Valle Lindo, or Mountain View, it will link up all of the school districts to the one account. EMUHSD will send out ParentSquare registration emails for the new system shortly or a parent can register themselves online. We encourage parents to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified.
